A regular bearing consists of Outer ring, Cage and Needle. This is a bearing assembler machine which assembles the outer ring, inner ring & the needle. The operation is carried out in 3 steps at three stations. At the first station, the outer ring is picked up. At the second station inner ring or the cage is picked up. At the last station the needles are filled between the rings. This application was implemented with the efforts of mechanical & electrical team of LOGICAL.

This SPM was built by LOGICAL.

The main purpose of building this machine was to sort the bearings depending upon the parameters like OD’s & ID’s.There were three acceptable ranges for the customer & remaining bearings were under the tag of the rejected bearings.

This machine enabled the end-user to carry out the process at higher speed, with a batch of 100 bearings, in a couple of minutes, with just one operator. This machine automation was done with the help of S7-200 CPU, User interface OP-73 and a special drive.

This machine was manufactured to increase productivity and overall efficiency.
